St George’s Day Festival 2012
Wat Tyler Country Park is set to play host to the first Essex St George’s Family Festival this month.
Celebrating everything English, the free festival held on Sunday 22 April will see a range of entertainment and activities for the whole family.
Craft stalls, farmers market, a real ale and cider festival, hog roast and food stalls, marching bands, and classic cars will all be on offer for visitors to enjoy.
And there will be plenty to enjoy for younger visitors with laser tag, sports and circus skills workshops, fairground rides, and jet simulators all on offer.
The Wat Tyler miniature railway will also be running throughout the day.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm.
Free entry and parking and free park and ride bus from Pitsea Train Station.
