The Wat Tyler Centre offers a wonderful new venue to celebrate your special day, comfortably seating 140 guests for your wedding breakfast, with plenty of room for live music and dancing for the evening reception, licensed until the small hours. Just 15 minutes from the M25, the venue is easily accessible for all your guests, and hire prices for the day are very competitive starting at just £500 for the whole day and evening.

The Wat Tyler Centre is set against the 125 acre natural backdrop of Wat Tyler Country Park, with walking trails for guests to explore and a picturesque village green and pond bordered by pretty, historic cottages that’s perfect for photography. Children will love the adventure playground and the Sculpture trail, mums and dads will love the collection of huge powerboats at the Motorboat Museum, so there will always be something to enjoy in quieter moments on the day.

Motorboat Museum closes 4th December 2009
The Motorboat Museum at Wat Tyler Country Park is closing down on the 4th December 2009. Due to large scale refurbishment of the building, it is necessary to close the Motorboat Museum and repatriate the collection.
It will still be possible in the short term to gain access to the extensive archive which focuses on sports and leisure powerboating. You will need to book an appointment, using the telephone and e-mail contacts on the Motorboat Museum web site
